What did you learn about technology through the production of your product?
Below is a screencast that we made to demonstrate the variety of techniques that we learned in the editing program Final Cut Pro X. Throughout the opening title sequence's creation, we learned a wide variety of techniques through mostly trial and error when we were edited. This includes things like keyboard shortcuts for ease of use, and overall techniques used to import and manipulate the footage we had filmed
Other technologies used
Along with the editing program Final Cut Pro X, we used an Apple Mac computer to actually edit the captured footage using the aforementioned program installed on the computer. This helped us immensely since it is relatively simple and easy to use, and allows us to access many different multimedia platforms (i.e. internet, etc.). To film the footage, we used a Canon EOS 750D camera. This camera was brilliant to use since it has a long battery life, is simple to utilise effectively, and can be used with many different types of tripods and microphones, which came in useful when filming.
